Mission Statement
Language Assessment Center (LAC) is an office that provides various services, such as translations and bilingual testing for non-English speaking children to both Alvord Unified School District employees and parents. Also, LAC will make it easier for patrons by allowing them to make online appointments. By providing them this information, patrons of LAC would have up-to-date information and answers to their questions that can be found in one place without the need to search in different locations or the wrong information.

- To promote the services provided by LAC. To let teachers and parents know about several programs offered for non-English speaking child.

- To learn about testing non-English speaking children. Find a translator for parent-teacher conferences, letters, meetings, and such. To have the option to set up testing or translating appointments online or over the telephone.

- Up-to-date information in regards to teaching English Language Learner students.
